Feeding Your Puppy

Feeding a puppy the correct diet is essential to ensure its optimum physical development.  At Assisi we feed our puppies on a very good quality, nutritional food that can be purchased at many pet stores.  Our puppies get three meals per day.

Knowing how much to feed your puppy
It is only possible to give rough estimate of the correct quantity.  Obviously smaller dogs require less food than large dogs.  It's a question of monitoring your pup.  If your puppy is regularly leaving a lot of food in its bowl, you may be offering too much food.
A dog is the right weight when you can feel their ribs clearly, but can't see them.
