Abbey's Page

Abbey is a two year old merle collie. She is a beautiful,
loving dog that needs specialist care which makes it difficult to find her a
suitable home. Abbey is deaf and has other neurological problems which
make it difficult for her to tolerate changes in her environment and routine.
She gets bored and frustrated very easily and needs constant stimulation.
Abbey is not aggressive and just loves the attention that comes from people - she adores being cuddled and groomed.

Here are three of many ways you can help Abbey:
1 You could sponsor her, sponsorship costs £60.00 a year and this money is used to help pay for veterinary costs, food and any treats she needs.
2 You could become a volunteer at Assisi. We are looking for a special person that could commit to at least 1 hour a day, every day to spend solely with Abbey. Abbey's new friend would be given support to understand Abbey's special needs.
3 You could re-home her, despite her problems she can be re-homed but only to the right home. She needs a home that has a regular routine, one where her needs can be given priority and there are few distractions.
If you think you can help Abbey in any way, please contact Assisi for more information.
